This week was a really great week so many blessings. One was
at english class i was teaching and one of the senior missionarys Elder Black
came in with a big bag and inside was heaps of missionary Japanese study books
and a few translation dictionarys. he was cleaning out one of the churches
offices and he found all the books so he gave it to me. It would have costed me
a few hundred dollars but the learning is priceless. Because of Elder Black i
have been able to learn so much more. our teaching pool at the moment is mostly
people with drug issues but they are all awesome and i love them alot. They are
all on some really hard things but they have such a strong desire to change,
Josh is one of the first we started to teach and he introduced us to all his friends
who want to learn. Josh came to church last sunday witch was awesome. That was
probably the highlight of the week. It has been a great experience teaching all
of them. i think it has brought me alot closer to my heavenly father alot of
times praying and asking what to do. Honestly i have no idea how to help people
that are so chained down by addiction but line upon line heavenly father tell
us what to do and step by step they are recovering it will take alot of time
but they can do it. Luckily we have one person who is really solid on date for
baptism for nov. 14. His name is leo from china. He is awesome really wants to
learn. he is a quiet and very nice person. his cousin is a member of our ward
and she has been a huge influence on him. I think he will make it. In this area
i really see how this is heavenly father work and not mine. We still go finding
alot but we are not able to find alot of people but so many times after a long
hard day as we are going home someone comes up to us and they want to learn. On
the other side i still get antied once a week. this week it happened 2 times
and really bad. One happened when we were waiting for the bus and a guy
started to tell us we were stupid for believing and then he started to go off
at us then a nice old lady came to our rescue and started to tell him off.
after she was done he walked off. The next time was an old man stared to tell
us we dont know jesus christ. i got a video of that one ill send it with the
rest. Our mission president sent us a letter which describes my situation with
these things. Your faith is like a flame when small and the winds of opposition
come the flame will die but when your faith is an inferno and the winds come
the fire grows. everytime i get antied i just feel my faith grow i just feel
sad that some are so blinded to the truth. This actually matches with my
ponderize scripture for the week Romans 8:28. What is everyones ponderized
scripture? also thank you all for your emails i love getting them its alwase
