Trusting in the Lord

June 13, 2016

This week we did a lot of interesting things we fed a calf, clipped the wings of chickens, and had a game of marbles because there is nothing to do on p day here haha.  We had a lot of family home evenings too. They were really good because we got 2 less active families to come together and have a FHE. It was surprising that all the kids listened. They were not running around going crazy but they sat were quiet(except for asking good questions) and loved it. The parents liked it to so we have another one this week! We drove around a lot and were very unlucky because everyone we wanted to visit was not home. Here in Narribri it is interesting because a lot of people either do not have phones or they never answer because they have no service so we cant call ahead to see if people are home. So we follow our promptings and usually we get places at exactly the right time. Even though this week we were not able to see the people we wanted the times that we decided to just have faith and go every time we were able to accomplish something. In life the path will not all be seen but heavenly father will give us a small bit and as we step into the dark as our foot comes down the path lights up and later on as we look back we can see the great things that have come from our faith. This is one of the biggest lessons I have learned here in Narribri because we have no choice but to trust in the lord which is the best way to go.
